Meet the Family
Edendale Homestead is a small family farm, run by us, Luke and Caitie Dieters. We were married in 2020 during the pandemic and moved to Toowoomba and then westward again not long after.
Luke studied Bachelor of Sustainable Agriculture, with a Major in Livestock and Poultry Production at UQ and further continued his studies with a Honors in Meat Science.
Caitie studied a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in Physics and works full time at a local school in Toowoomba.
We started our farming journey in 2021 and have plans to expand the Edendale Homestead brand in the future. As first generation farmers we continue to learn and implements best practices whilst also learning from more experienced locals and family members.
We also can’t forget to mention our two working pups, Buddy and Sylvie both Kelpie x Border Collies. Buddy works tirelessly in the role of livestock guardian ensuring the safety of our calves and lambs, while Sylvie’s specialty is in mustering and herding.
